Pearl Care Instructions

Pearls are organic gems and are delicate, requiring special care. Please follow these guidelines:

A. Proper Cleaning

After wearing your pearls (especially in summer), clean them thoroughly before returning them to your jewelry box. Use a pearl polishing cloth to wipe them, and ensure they are air-dried before storage. Do not use tap water, tissues, jewelry cleaner, or ultrasonic cleaning machines on pearls.

B. Keep Pearls Clean

To prevent damage from chemicals in cosmetics, it's recommended to put on your pearls after applying makeup. If they accidentally come into contact with food, drinks, perfume, cosmetics, or soap, wipe them clean immediately.

When Not to Wear: Avoid wearing pearls while showering, sleeping, swimming, or cooking. Also, do not expose pearls to direct strong sunlight for extended periods.

C. Wear Regularly

Pearls need to breathe. Please wear them regularly and do not store them long-term in sealed boxes or plastic bags.

D. Store Separately

Pearls have a low hardness. Always store them separately in a jewelry box to prevent friction from harder objects. It's recommended to store them flat to avoid shape changes from prolonged hanging.

E. Regular Inspection & Maintenance

The special silk thread used for pearl necklaces can deform over time. It's recommended to have your pearl necklace restrung annually. For pearl-set jewelry, regularly check if the settings are loose to prevent losing your pearls.
